De Hustinx Prijs voor Dramaschrijvers wordt toegekend aan een naar het oordeel van de jury verdienstelijke auteur of auteurs voor drama op toneel, televisie, cinema of streamingdienst in de Nederlandse taal. DThe prize of 8,000 euros is awarded every two years, once to an author from Belgium and once to an author from the Netherlands.
De Hustinx Prijs voor Dramaschrijvers is bedoeld als waarderingsprijs voor een auteur of collectief met een bijzondere prestatie in hetzelfde of voorafgaande jaar van de prijsuitreiking.
